Privacy Policy
GoodCraft ("we") develops and operates TopoLog ("the App"). We value your privacy. This policy explains how the App handles information related to you.
1. Information we access
TopoLog does not require an account. The App may access the following device data to provide core features:
- Location: For compass, altitude, speedometer, activity tracks, and geo stamps. Revoke anytime in iOS Settings.
- Motion & fitness: To detect activity and auto start/stop recording to save battery.
- Camera & microphone: For geo camera photos and videos (only when you use that feature).
- Photo library: To save captured content to your library (only when you choose to save).
- Barometer & magnetometer: For elevation, indoor/outdoor detection, and related readings.
2. Data storage
- On device: Tracks (GPX), activity records, geo media metadata, and elevation history stay on your iPhone by default.
- Team sessions: Nickname and live location are relayed via Supabase Realtime. Designed as stateless relay — not persisted on the server.
- Weather: Compass and altitude pages may call a weather API with approximate coordinates only.
3. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data. Third parties may be involved only when:
- You export GPX or media via Share to other apps;
- Team relay requires realtime communication;
- Required by law or to protect user safety.
4. Your choices
You can control your data by:
- Managing permissions in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security;
- Deleting tracks, photos, or resetting records in the App;
- Uninstalling the App to remove all local data.
5. Children's privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information.
6. Policy changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
